Beautiful saree, minor issue

I ordered a Maheshwari Saree from Resha for a family event, and it arrived in about a week, which was decent. The fabric quality is excellent, very soft and drapes beautifully. The colors were true to the website images, which is always a relief. My only minor gripe was that the zari border had a very small, barely noticeable pull in one spot. It wasn't enough to return it, and I managed to carefully fix it myself. The packaging was good, and the saree was well-protected. I really appreciate the authentic handloom feel. I would recommend them, just double-check the item when it arrives.

Good quality, delivery took a while

I bought a Chanderi Saree during their festive sale. The saree itself is beautiful and the handloom quality is very evident. It felt authentic, just like advertised. My only real complaint was the shipping time; it took about 10 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the tracking, though. Overall, a good purchase.

Love my new dupatta!

So I grabbed one of their Handloom Dupattas, the Indigo Print one. It's super pretty and the fabric is really soft. Got it to wear with a plain kurta I had. Shipping was pretty quick, like it got here in less than a week. No hassle at all. I'd definitely get more stuff from them, it was a good experience.

How does Resha compare to someone like Fabindia for sarees? Is the quality similar or is Resha better for specific types?

F Faith T. 2 months ago
Resha is more focused on very specific handloom traditions like Chanderi and Maheshwari. Fabindia has a wider range but Resha feels more specialized and authentic for those particular crafts.

I'd say Resha is more 'boutique' and focused on the intricate handloom. Fabindia is good too, but Resha feels a bit more artisanal for those specific weaving styles.

Hey, thinking of getting a saree for Diwali. Does Resha usually have big sales around festive times like that?

S Sam Foster 1 month ago
Oh yeah, definitely for Diwali! They usually have pretty good offers then, sometimes like 20% off or more on specific collections.

They always do. Diwali, Holi, even National Handloom Day. Keep an eye out closer to the date.

Can I use like, a festive sale coupon AND a first-order discount code together? Or is it one or the other?

D Derek Brooks 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one coupon at a time. Most stores don't let you stack them.

Yeah, I tried combining one once and it didn't work. It's usually either a sale price or a single coupon.

Does Resha do that first-time buyer discount thing? Like a code for signing up or something?

R Renee 2 months ago
Yep, they usually have one! I got 10% off my first order after signing up for their newsletter.

Check their site, sometimes it pops up right away. Or if you sign up for emails, they'll send it.

What's the return policy like if a saree doesn't fit or if I just don't like it in person? Is it a hassle?

R Renee Vargas 2 months ago
Their return policy is pretty standard, I think it's within a certain number of days. Just make sure the tags are on and it's unworn.

I returned a dupatta once. It was okay, not super fast but no major drama. Just check their exact policy on the website for timeframes.

Hey, wondering if anyone knows how long Resha usually takes to deliver to California? Thinking of getting a saree for an event next month.

A Amber 2 months ago
They ship internationally, but I think it takes a bit. Like, 2-3 weeks probably, with customs and stuff.

Mine took about 18 days to get to New York. So yeah, next month might be cutting it close if you need it early.

Does Resha offer any stitching services for blouses? Or do I have to get that done separately?

F Faith 2 months ago
I don't think they do. Usually, you just get the unstitched blouse piece with the saree and get it tailored locally.
3
N Nick 2 months ago
Nope, they focus on the sarees and fabrics. No tailoring, you'll need to find your own tailor for the blouse.

Are the sarees on Resha legit handloom or is it like, machine-made stuff they're calling handloom? Trying to avoid fake products.

N Nina K. 2 months ago
They're proper handloom. That's kinda their whole thing, focusing on traditional weaving from specific regions like Chanderi and Maheshwari.

K Kate W. 2 months ago
Yeah, I've bought a couple, and you can definitely feel the difference. They even mention the specific craft types. Not machine stuff at all.
